Established in 1827, Talbot County has a rich heritage, and it is the historical home to some of Georgia’s most influential citizens. It is located 2 hours south of Atlanta, 30 miles northeast of Columbus, Ga., 30 miles south of Callaway Gardens, 60 miles west of Macon, Ga. and 20 miles south of Warm Springs, Ga., the site of F.D.R.’s Little White House and the Roosevelt Institute.
