Brian is Executive President of Economic Development for the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce where he is an integral part of the region’s economic and workforce development efforts. Brian has been working in the field of Economic Development for 14 years.  His work has led to the announcement of almost 70 project locations or expansions resulting in the creation of more than 5,000 new jobs and $600 million in capital investment.  Brian is a 1990 graduate of Pacelli High School in Columbus and attended Columbus College completing coursework in Business and Communications. He also holds designations as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council. Many in the Columbus area became familiar with him as "Brian Sharpe” – when he was a member of the WRBL News 3 anchor team for over eight years.
