Columbus, Georgia has been the proud home of the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Benning for more than 100 years! The U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence , Armor School, Infantry School, the fabled 75th Ranger Regiment and many other units are stationed at Fort Benning, the fourth largest Army post.  

With over 13,000 assigned soldiers and their families, along with an average of 25,000 student soldiers in training at any given moment, Fort Benning is a very active and dynamic installation, featuring over 182,000 acres of training land and nearly 100 live-fire ranges. 
In an average year more than 2,000 soldiers transition back to civilian life from Fort Benning as they complete their service. These new veterans are highly talented, educated and very much sought after by employers. A few statistics:
