New riverfront complex to double number of downtown apartments available
14 Mar 2019
A new $52 million apartment complex officially opened in downtown Columbus Tuesday morning. The Rapids – just north of the 13th Street Bridge – is the latest W.C. Bradley Company development along the Chattahoochee River.
The 226 units in this building could bring as many as 500 new residents into downtown by mid-summer.
To put that into perspective, it will more than double the number of apartments available for rent in the core downtown area.
The apartment complex that opened this month is a major investment in downtown Columbus by the Bradley Company. In fact, it is the largest single real estate investment for the company, which has been in business since the 1880s.
