JS Link and the City of Columbus Initiate Factory Establishment Discussions
30 Oct 2025
A delegation from Columbus, Georgia, visited Korea to personally verify JS Link's rare earth permanent magnet mass production capabilities and engage in detailed discussions toward establishing a manufacturing plant in the United States.
On the 29th of this month, Columbus Mayor BH Skip Henderson and the delegation visited JS Link's plant in Yesan, South Chungcheong Province, a domestic rare earth permanent magnet manufacturer. This visit was a follow-up to a recent meeting with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. This visit is interpreted as reflecting the strong commitment of both sides to quickly establish a supply chain in the United States for permanent magnets, which have emerged as a new core material for high-tech industries amid the US-China conflict.
