Columbus Tech Workforce Training Helps Transitioning Military Service Members

The Col. Ralph Puckett Workforce Development Center will host a ribbon-cutting event on July 31, 2026, to provide training, industry-driven programs, and wraparound services for service members. Operated by Columbus Technical College and a registered Department of War Skillbridge provider, the workforce training is designed to launch careers servicemembers across the world who are transitioning to civilian life. Over a dozen local companies have already established themselves as preferred training partners for the program.

The Puckett Center will start fall classes on August 10th, so now is the perfect time for transitioning service members to register for career training. Prospective students can explore programs, gain skills, and get ready to step into the future today with Columbus Tech workforce training.
