Columbus, GA workforce development is taking another step forward with the opening of Columbus Technical College’s Col. Ralph Puckett Workforce Development Center. Community leaders and Choose Columbus recognize the center’s potential to connect transitioning military talent with local employment opportunities and strengthen the region’s economy. The $22 million facility, supported substantially by local contributions, celebrated its ribbon-cutting on July 31. Its accelerated career training and credentialing programs serve people pursuing high-demand careers, with special emphasis on transitioning service members, military spouses and veterans.
